Monday, May 23 we will write about the experience of writing the feature article and will write details from our cultural identity (heritage) project which we'd like to share. Then we will turn and talk to our partners before we share with the whole class.
Tuesday, May 24 we are going to the library to type a book review and video tape it, too!
5, 6, and 7th periods will meet in the classroom and write their letter to their grandchild.

Wednesday, May 25 periods 2 and 3 will write that promised "letter to a grandchild."
Periods 5, 6, and 7 will do a formative assessment to make sure you understand author's purpose, conflict, and story resolution. We are going to look at part of a play so that you can review elements of drama.
Thursday, May 26 is our review day for the final. We plan to play a fun review game. Maybe Mrs. Mutchler will pull out the buzzers! .
Friday, May 27 is the last reading assessment of the year!
Monday, May 30 is Memorial Day.
Memorial Day is a day for remembering and honoring those who died while serving in the military. Keep Williamsport's own Abe Howard in your thoughts today.

The day before your final we will have a second review! We are doing comprehensive reviews and providing details about the test in class. The finals are scheduled as follows:
June 1st: 5th period final
June 2: 6th period final
June 3: 2nd and 7th period final
June 6: 3rd period final
Literary nonfiction was an important component of the end of our year. Therefore, we will continue our look at literary nonfiction by watching a documentary about Elie Wiesel when he returns back to Signet and Auschwitz. We will also do some additional highly relevant activities depending on time.
